The extra portion of warmth is provided by both warm thermal synthetic fabric insulation and a very cozy Sher fleece lining - the latter can also be found in the hood. <br>The waterproof membrane offers excellent protection against precipitation. It prevents moisture from penetrating the jacket, although it should be noted that the membrane reaches its limits in heavy rain.
