The ventilation holes in the bottom windshield, when faced into the wind, feed oxygen to the burner creating more heat. In extreme conditions the ventilation holes can be turned away from the wind, maintaining the flame and providing heat in a situation where other burners would struggle. The combined frypan/lid can be put on top of the pan to speed up heating and save fuel. </p> <p>The set is available in 2 Versions - UL ( Ultralight aluminum) and HA (hard anodized aluminum).
