You can use them just as well for winter hiking or snowshoeing as for ski touring.</p><p>The wind- and waterproof softshell material with breathable membrane keeps you dry through deep snow. If you start to sweat on your tour, you can let fresh air inside at any time via the side zippers. In addition, the pants bring a generous four-way stretch to not constrict you on steep climbs.</p><p>Thanks to the Velcro waistband, the Matrei Softshell Trousers fit great; at the bottom, you can zip the leg ends to fit over your boots. An edge protector prevents excessive abrasion and integrated gaiters keep the snow out.</p>
