<p>The Rätikon is one of the mountain groups that appear in two Panico guides. The climbing opportunities on the Austrian north side, which are tackled from Brandnertal and Montafon, are just one of the various areas in our "Vorarlberg Climbing Guide".</p> <p>The Swiss side of the Rätikon is the sole focus of this volume, and this fact alone shows where most of the routes in the area can be found: on the south side. Furthermore, there is class: excellent platy limestone is made from the kilometers of walls that stretch from the Kirchlispitzen to the Scheinfluh. Spectacular photos made from extreme routes such as the "Silbergeier" have rightly made the area internationally known and famous.
