At an absolutely low weight of only 440 grams, it is definitely one of the lightest and, with its compact pack size, will fit in even the smallest ski touring backpack.&nbsp;</p><p>But that's nothing too unusual yet. The reason for this is the high sidewalls and the pronounced centre bar which make the shovel blade very stiff despite the recesses.
