<p class="" data-start="381" data-end="848">The Katadyn BeFree AC filter system 0.5L combines effective water filtration with an ultra-light, space-saving design - ideal for trekking, traveling and your everyday life. Kitted out with a hollow fiber filter (0.1 micron) and an additional activated carbon insert, the system offers double protection: it not only removes bacteria, protozoa and microplastics, but also improves the taste and smell of the water by reducing chlorine and turbidity.</p> <p class="" data-start="850" data-end="1189">The heart of the system is the EZ-Clean Membrane&trade;, which can be cleaned without the need for backwashing - simply shake or swivel. The filter unit is designed for up to 1,000 liters, the activated carbon module for around 200 liters - depending on the water quality. With a flow rate of up to 2 liters per minute, you'll always have an excellent supply of water.</p> <p class="" data-start="1191" data-end="1551">The included Hydrapak&reg; SoftFlask&trade; made from BPA- and PVC-free TPU holds 0.5 liters and can be rolled up small - ideal for your backpack or belt. A robust flip cap protects the silicone mouthpiece from dirt and can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement.
