Description

The Hanwag Makra Pro GTX for women are lightweight, stable and conditionally crampon-compatible mountaineering boots for long and demanding via ferratas. Like its predecessor, the Makra Combi, the alpine mountain boot is compatible with your (semi-automatic) combi crampons and is very versatile in technical terrain with glacier passages.</p
The cushioning structure of the sole is kitted out with excellent reinforcement and the very non-slip, self-cleaning Vibram® Makra tread sole with climbing zone. The high-quality, very robust Perwanger® leather ensures excellent durability and is optimally protected by the all-round scree protection edge.
A great feature in terms of detailed customisation is the genuine two-zone lacing with a mechanical clamp as a fixation. This allows you to make separate adjustments to the forefoot and upper shaft section.

As a specialist for rocky terrain above the tree line with excellent climbing performance, the Makra Pro GTX is also at home at chilly altitudes and on glacier passages. Thanks to its women's-specific last with a wider cut in the forefoot area, the construction offers sufficient space for thicker socks. This allows unhindered blood flow to the toes - an essential prerequisite for preventing frostbite.
