With its 97 mm waist width (at 179 cm), this lightweight, maneuverable ski falls into the downhill-oriented touring freeride category, but also impresses as an all-rounder.</p> <p>A carbon content in the construction makes the low weight possible (1,450 g per ski at 179 cm) without sacrificing too much stability. Carbon stringers on the hybrid core made from paulownia and poplar ensure stability and a smooth ride. A moderate waist optimized for off-piste skiing with a slightly longer tip rocker geometry creates plenty of manoeuvrability. Reliable stability and power transmission is also provided by a continuous ABS sidewall.</p> <p>A relatively light ski like the Tigard 97 helps you to get up the mountain quick and effortlessly, but can also impress on the descent.
